Applicants must have at least three (3) years of professional photography experience and be knowledgeable in all aspects of digital photography.

 

Photographers supports the multimedia team at US Military Facilities. Photographers produce stills for digital and print use, both on location and in studio. The job requires routine and specialized photographic editing duties such as image processing, manipulation, production and printing.

Photographers coordinate with and respond to customer requests and work closely with the project lead for photography, videography, and graphic support. Photographer must be able to think independently and make adjustments when necessary to complete scheduled assignments in a variety

of environments.

 

Professional appearance and demeanor is required. The ideal candidate must be extremely reliable, committed, dependable and punctual; as well as have the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and work under tight deadlines.

 

Work is generally performed Monday thru Friday with occasional overtime and weekend requirements. Work is often performed in office, studio, and outdoor environment. Must be able to stand for extended times; lift and transport up to 25 pounds of supplies, equipment or products.

 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related full-time work experience in digital photography

• Proficiency in operating in manual mode without relying on automatic settings

• Experience performing photographic duties including image processing, manipulation, printing, and

production beyond exposure and white balance

• Working experience speed lights, studio setups, and off camera lighting

• Experience selecting cameras, lenses, lighting, and backdrops

• Experience in importing, exporting, editing, and printing multiple file formats

• Experience selecting, arranging, and framing scenes for effective results

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of photographic editing hardware and software including

Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator

• Experience setting up and operating photographic equipment to produce effective results in low-lit

environments

• Understanding of digital work flow

• Able to work independently or in a group environment and be multi-task oriented

• Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance (if necessary)
